In the world of high-crime, men have always played the leading role. Women often portrayed as either the blonde whore or the squeaking damsel in need of rescue.
As any intelligent woman realizes, playing by the rules in a male-dominated field will only get you so far. Times are changing, but still, there is a staggering amount of politically correct idols. Or those soppy wenches dangling all over the "Hero", whose sole purpose is to define his heterosexuality.
